Dr. Bery Engebretsen and the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation will be honored at the annual Primary Leader in Health Awards reception, on May 14, 2019, benefitting Primary Health Care.

“Dr. Engebretsen has an enduring legacy in community health care, here in Iowa and nationally. He has been our visionary and leader for more than 37 years, and we are delighted to honor him with this award,” said Kelly Huntsman, CEO at Primary Health Care.

The event will recognize both recipients for outstanding service and contribution to advocating for health care access, especially for those who are most vulnerable.

“We’re grateful to the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation for their leadership and commitment to ensuring that underserved Iowans have access to quality oral health care,” said Scott Emison Clair, Chairman of the Board of Directors at PHC.

The cocktail reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the program, emceed by Tommie Clark of KCCI, will begin at 6:30 p.m.
